Filling System Captive converter. Unscrew the blind cap to reveal the converter's piston.
Color Light brown marbled resin with sterling silver trim (cap and barrel bands, and clip are all hallmarked). Black cap and blind cap. The resin portions almost look like a light woodgrain, highly polished. The bottom portion of the cap has the phrase "ordo populusque atellanus".
Nib MEDIUM 14k rhodium plated nib. Soft and springy as expected of Italian nibs.
Condition Excellent condition. There's light to moderate scratching on the barrel. The trim looks fantastic. Imprint is clear. No dents, dings, cracks, or personalization.
According to the Marlen website, Aderl was the first coin minted in the ancient city of Atella and represented the independence of this territory in its ancient origins. The clip depicts Maccus, one of the most important figures of the Atella’ s Fabulae (the moral tales of the region).
