Filling System Button filler system. We have restored and tested the system and it's working very well.
Color Marbled burgundy with black. It has gold plated trim including a narrow cap band and a black cap piece. The cap is thin enough to allow light and shadows through it.
Nib FINE 14k nib, labeled "Mentmore Osmi Iridium 14 ct Gold". It is smooth and springy.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has handwear and light scratching on the cap and barrel. The clip has brassing along the sides and on the ball end. The cap band has brassing on the edges and a little bit of rippling. The section has some surface roughness or texture - not really scratches, but it's not flat and smooth. The barrel imprint is slightly smoothed down, but still easily legible. The pen is fully restored and working well.
