Product Description
Type Vintage piston filler fountain pen
Product Name Model 334 (it's written on the knob).
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany, 1935-6 (as identified by the tall cap.) There's an imprint on the barrel that says "D.R.P. Angem." which stands for Deutsches Reichspatent.
Length Fountain Pen: 5-1/8"
Filling System The fountain pen has a piston filler (tested and working well).
Color Black celluloid with gold plated trim. The ink view section of the pen is amber.
Nib Fine Montblanc 3-1/2 nib. There is an "F" on the knob. This is a steel nib with little if any tipping. We believe this is the correct nib for third tier pens between 1935 and 1940.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The plating on the trim is in poor condition. This is a nicely designed pen in a good classic color. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and some scratch marks in the area above the section. The cap has very vew scratches, just a mark here and there. The cap bands and clip have scratches, plating wear, and scratching. The cap imprint is clear as are the imprints on the knob. The Montblanc star on the top of the cap is fully intact.
