Filling System Piston filler.
Color Black cap, section, and end piece with sterling trim and body. The barrel is faceted sterling with designs contemporary to Proust's lifetime. One of the facets includes a copy of his signature.
Nib Broad Italic 18k Nib. It's very smooth, but with fine enough horizontal stroke that the pen is firmly an italic. See the writing sample below. The nib is slightly springy and is decorated with rhodium masking and an hourglass imprint.
Condition Near mint with hardly any handwear and clear imprints. They are all easily read, including the Germany and Pix imprints beneath the clip. We included lots of photos, so you can see for yourself how well maintained the pen is. In Montblanc Proust LE box, with booklet and outer sleeve.
