Color The body and cap are made of a black resin and the trim is solid sterling silver. The cap has a domed piece in its top. The clip is in the shape of a snake (a symbol of wisdom), with the tail end curled around the top of the cap; the snake has ruby eyes. As with all of the pens in this series, Agatha Christie's signature is etched on the pen, and is located at the top of the cap to the right of the clip.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box with paperwork. There is light handwear and microscratching visible under magnification, but in hand the pen looks fantastic. The snake clip has acquired some tarnish, but in a very attractive manner that nicely matches the vintage appearance of the pen. It ships in its original book-shaped box with sleeve and paperwork.
