Condition Near mint condition, in box, with paperwork and a stainless steel tankard (more on this below). There are scattered microscratches on the barrel and cap, visible under magnification but largely camoflaged by the colorful finish. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a gorgeous, elegant, fat pen that is impressive. The imprints are clear.
After the success of Montegrappa's Copper Mule pen and mug set, they were motivated to make another cocktail-inspired combination, and decided to celebrate the Blue Blazer, the first cocktail to be set on fire. Normally, this drink is made with scotch, water, and sugar, set aflame, and poured between two mugs. (Probably do not try this at home.) In this set, Montegrappa includes a Blazer engraved tankard mug and a recipe for an Italian variation on the drink, made with grappa.
