Filling System Takes a standard international converter or cartridges. A converter is installed. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure it is working properly.
Color Blue marble pearlized celluloid (according to pg 55 in the accompanying book) with sterling silver trim, a wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Nib Medium 18k gold two-tone nib, mostly silver colored with a greek key design in gold. It has lovely tipping, and is soft feeling.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. There are some tooth marks near the end of the barrel. The sterling endpiece has some tiny dents and nicks around the edge and on the threads; the cap still posts securely and easily. The section also has small marks and some tarnishing, especially near the nib. The clip has polishing marks and some tiny dents. The sterling piece on top of the cap has three dings (we have closeup shots of most of these marks in the photos below). No cracks, chips, or personalization. The pen has been cleaned and tested, it's working very well. Includes box large luxurious box, book/booklet, and cardboard outer box. The box has slight damage and the outer material is flaking in some areas. The outer cardboard box is also a bit rough around the edges.
