Filling System It's fitted with a Montegrappa converter which can be removed to accept cartridges. It is international refill compatible. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure it is working properly.
Color Amber marbled celluloid with sterling silver trim, a wide 7/16 inch wide cap band marked 1912 Montegrappa, and a sterling end piece with threads in it for posting the cap.
Nib Broad Montegrappa 18k gold two-tone nib, mostly silver colored with a Greek key design in gold. The masking is perfect.
Condition Excellent + condition. The sterling pieces are bright and shiny. There are some tiny spots of tarnish and some polishing marks on the trim. The top of the cap band has some tarnish and one or two tiny dots of pitting. The cap and barrel look great, no cracks or chips, and only light microscratching. The pen has been cleaned and tested, and it's working very well. The imprints are clear.
