Product Name | Unknown, though the nib is #2 |
Manufacturer and Year | Frank H Mooney, Chicago, 1900-1910 |

Filling System | Blow Filler. This pen has a sac which is compressed by blowing into a hole in the end of the barrel. We've installed a new sac and the filling system works extremely well. |
Color | Mottled red hard rubber with no trim. |
Nib |
14k #2 Frank H Mooneys nib is very flexible and smooth to write with, with excellent tipping material. There's a teeny chunk missing out of the tipping material on the top inside edge of the right tine, but it's no where near the writing surface unless you are writing with the nib flipped over! Very responsive nib, almost full flex, with excellent hairlines and springback. See writing sample done on Rhodia 5x5 grid. |
Condition | Gorgeous restored condition. Very shiny with great color. No cracks, no chips. It fills very well and has a new sac. |
