Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen with a great flexible nib
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Morrison Fountain Pen Company, New York (1930s). Morrison was one of the third tier pen makers, but we've never seen a nicer model so we suspect this was top of the line.
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Lever filler, restored here at Peyton Street Pens with a new sac.
Color Gold filled in a wave design, over mottled red hard rubber.
Nib FULL FLEX FINE. #2 Warranted nib. See writing sample. Not a wet noodle, but it flexes with hardly pressure and lays down a lovely line that goes from fine to double broad.
Condition Especially nice with only slivers of brasing on the top edge. No dents, dings or personalization. Morrison gold overlays are common, and the plating is usually very worn. These plating on this model might have been better quality than on other Morrisons, or perhaps it's just in better condition with less wear.
