Color This is the Kuro-roiro finish - all black urushi over an ebonite body. There are no underlayers of different colors, it's just deep, glossy, pure black.
Nib Soft Fine 14k nib writes very smoothly and is soft enough for a bit of careful line variation. You'll get line widths from a Japanese fine to medium-broad (not much, but noticeable). We've included a writing sample below.
Condition Near mint condition. No blemishes on the cap, barrel, or section. The pen is shiny and glossy with no scratches. This is a lovely pen which will age beautifully. Urushi lacquer is incredibly durable, though you should avoid storing the pen in strong light, as that degrades the finish.
Ships in original Nakaya wooden box.
