Filling System Piston system is employed by turning the knob on the end of the barrel. The piston works fine, and we cleaned and tested the filling system.
Color "Purpura" - crimson red vegetal resin with a detailed sterling silver overlay. The overlay has intricately detailed images of Jerusalem's Wailing Wall encircling the barrel and cap of the pen.
Nib Fine 18k nib. There is a clear F on the side of the nib. No indication of wear.
Condition Near Mint condition, in box with paperwork. No cracks, chips, scratches, or dents. The clip has some pitting. The imprints are clear. The pen has minimal handwear and ships in box with paperwork. The olivewood box is heavy and in perfect shape. The outer cardboard box is worn and the interior is torn. The box, the pen, and the rolled up certificate are all numbered 1985.
