Filling System Piston system is employed by turning the knob on the end of the barrel. The piston works fine, and we cleaned and tested the filling system.
Color Transparent resin with gold-plated trim. Ribbed design (aka guilloche) running lengthwise.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 18k nib. There is a clear EF on the side of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition, in box with paperwork. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. There is ink staining in the section area. The cotton resin material of the barrel and cap has yellowed somewhat; this may be exaggerated by the gold colored trim. There's an area that looks like condensation on the knob at the end of the barrel, however we think this is sealant or glue. The nib has some light patina on the upper surface, as well as heavier patina or ink staining, neither of which should affect the pen's performance. Otherwise, there is no noticeable scratching or other marks. The trim and clip look great. The imprints are clear. Ships in faux leather Omas display box with outer thin cardboard sleeve, and paperwork.
