Type Vintage fountain pen and pencil in nice working order.
Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1955 - 62 (We can't find a date code, but those are the years that Parker made the Liquid Lead pencils).
Length Fountain pen is 5-3/8", pencil is right at 5".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system.
Color Cocoa with stainless steel "Lustraloy" caps and arrow clips. Pearlescent cap jewels.
Nib Fine gold nib is in excellent condition with good tipping. It's nice and rounded for smooth writing.
Condition Excellent condition, with some wear. Fountain pen: The cap jewel is really nice and clean, and there is minimal plating wear on the trim. The cap does have some shiny spots, and a few light scratches in the brushed finish. No chips, cracks, major scratches, or personalization. Pencil: Cap jewel is really nice, as is the trim plating. There are a few dots of plating loss on the side of the clip. Just a couple of small shiny spots on the cap, and shallow scratches. The Liquid Lead refill works! These refills are no longer made, but you will have the cartridge there as a placeholder when it runs dry.
The set comes in a Parker 51 box, with the original booklet that refers to the Liquid Lead pencil.
