Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parker 51 Fantasy Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker parts and re-manufactured parts made by Argentina's Ariel Kullock. We're guessing the nib and filling system are genuine Parker, with the barrel, section and cap made by Kullock. The cap jewel looks like a reproduction, and we're not at all sure about the clip, it doesn't look like Parker.
Length Full size pen, 5-5/16"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We have tested it and it's working well.
Color A lovely medium blue, somewhere between aqua and turquoise. Either way, it's a stunning color! The material is used for the section, barrel, and cap. The cap has the Parker inner clutch mechanism, a pearlescent jewel, and a gold-filled arrow clip.
Nib Fine gold nib is very smooth with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. Good trim and the nib looks perfect. The body and cap material is an eye-catching, vivid blue. There are scratches on the barrel and section hood from capping the pen, and light scratching on the rest of the body and cap. The nib opening has some tiny chips around it, but these will not affect the pen's function. The clip has brassing and plating wear on the edges and high spots, and there is some plating wear around the top edge of the clip ring.
