Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parker 51 Fantasy Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker parts and re-manufactured parts made by Argentina's Ariel Kullock. The filling system and nib were made in the USA, the barrel and hood are not marked, so they might have been made by Kullock like the white chevron plastic cap.
Length Full size pen, 5-1/2"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We have tested it and it's working well.
Color Black barrel and section hood, with a white cap that's decorated with black lines in a chevron pattern. Black cap jewel. The cap has the Parker inner clutch mechanism and an arrow clip.
Nib Medium gold nib is very smooth with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition. Strong trim and the nib looks perfect. There is light scratching on the barrel and section hood. The white cap material is slightly translucent; some areas of the cap appear to be darker, which is mostly due to the internal components showing through rather than staining. There is some very light staining near the cap lip, inside the cap. The cap lip is not completely even, but there are no cracks or chips, and that's probably the way it was made. The clip ring has a small area of plating wear. The clip looks really great, quite smooth and with no plating wear or brassing. The Kullock imprint on the cap is crisp and clear..... we're not sure what the "F" is meant to signify, that's usually where Kullock indicates what the cap material was.
