Product Name Oversized Parker 51 Aerometric called a "Magnum".... not a model ever made by Parker!
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker new old stock parts and re-manufactured parts. New barrel/hood, oversized Lustraloy cap by Kullock. Filling system, clip and nib unit are original P51 parts. The clip looks like an original P51 clip that was welded/soldered onto a wider tassie to match the oversized cap.
Length 5-11/16" long. The diameter at the clutch ring is a hair over 1/2", where our other fantasy 51s are about 3/8". The magnum cap is also noticeably larger than the regular caps.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. Tested and working well.
Color Marbled pearl grey barrel and section. The cap is a Lustraloy cap with a gold plated clip and cap jewel made of the same material as the pen.
Nib Medium 14k hooded nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, beautifully colored pen with a satiny cap and with an especially pretty pearlized top jewel. The barrel and section light scratching, particularly under the cap lip on the barrel. The cap has some spots of pitting, and we've included detailed shots of this in the photos. The clip and clip ring have brassing and some small dots of plating wear. The top pearlized jewel has unique and especially lovely details. There are no imprints.
