Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. The "Special" has the filler with the U-shaped pressure bar. We've cleaned and tested it, it's working well.
Color The color is navy grey. This is the aerometric gray color for the Parker 51's. It's a blue-green gray. Shiny stainless steel cap with an arrow clip, chrome plated trim, and black cap jewel, all of which are common on Specials.
Nib FINE octanium nib is smooth and firm with excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The barrel has light scratching with more moderate scratching near the end. The area of the section hood near the nib has some long thin scratch lines. The cap has moderate scratching, but is still nice and shiny. The clip has some plating wear at the top near the clip ring. The cap jewel looks great. The imprints are clear.
