Color The color is Navy gray. This is the aerometric gray color for the Parker 51's. Smooth and shiny stainless steel cap with an arrow clip, chrome plated trim, and black cap jewel as is common on Specials.
Nib MEDIUM Steel nib.
Condition Very nice condition. No dents on the cap or cracks on the barrel. The barrel has microscratching. The trim ring has one area of pitting. The cap has two deep scratches to the left of the clip which are partially hidden by the clip. Otherwise, the cap has just microscratching and a few little shiny dots. The clip looks very good but there is some plating wear on the tip and the sides.
Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny, classic fountain pen. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip and light to moderate scratching and microscratching. The section has long scratch lines caused by capping. The shiny chrome cap has moderate to heavy microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The clip ring has some microdots of plating wear and pitting. The top black jewel has some light microscratches on it. The imprint is clear.
