Parker 51 fountain pen in the full-sized model from 1945. Vacumatic filler in Dove Grey with a 14k gold filled cap, a pearlescent cap jewel, and a blue diamond clip. Fine 14k nib is smooth and firm. Excellent condition.

Type  Vintage vacumatic filling fountain pen, restored and working well.

Product Name  Parker "51" Vacumatic.

Manufacturer and Year  Parker, made in USA - 1945 (the imprint is a clear 5).

Length  Full size pen, 5-3/8 inches.

Filling System  Piston/plunger (Vacumatic) system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well. We will include instructions on how to use this system.

Color  Dove Grey body with a 14k gold filled cap with a pattern of thin parallel lines, a blue diamond gold filled clip, and a pearlescent cap jewel.  The clutch band is two silver bands with a ring of gold in the middle.  Imprint on cap band is: "1/8 14k gold filled  Made in USA".  

Nib  FINE gold nib is quite smooth and firm with perfect tipping material.

Condition  Excellent condition.  There are no dents, cracks, chips, or personalization.  The section has some microscratching and some more noticeable scratching near the tip.  The barrel and cap have only some microscratching.  Some plating wear on the sides of the clip. The blue diamond paint looks perfect. The imprints are clear.

Payment Policy: Paying via Credit Card or PayPal are the only methods allowed for addresses outside the United States. Customers from the United States also have the option of sending a check, money order or cashier's check. Payment method is selected during checkout.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system. We have heard that shipments valued at 50 EU or more get assessed fees in EU countries, for example.
