Filling System piston/plunger (Vacumatic) filling system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working well.
Color Cordovan Brown body, smooth sterling silver cap with a reproduction pearlescent jewel and a Blue Diamond gold clip. Trim band has imprint "Sterling Silver Made in U.S.A." The sterling cap was originally lined, but due to the soft sterling and coating they put on it, like many Parker 51 sterling caps it looked dull and a little grubby. We polished the cap to remove the lines.
Nib New old stock FINE gold nib is smooth and quite firm with perfect tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. The section is slightly discolored and has some microscratching and a ring of wear around the center. The barrel has microscratching. The cap has some fine scratches, remnants of the original lined pattern. The reproduction pearlescent jewel is excellent. The imprints are mostly legible. There are no cracks, chips, or personalization. The pen is very striking with the brown barrel and the silver cap with gold clip contrasts.
