Type Vintage vacumatic filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Parker "51" Vacumatic.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - 1948 (the imprint is a clear 8).
Length Full size pen, 5-3/8 inches.
Filling System Piston/plunger (Vacumatic) system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well. We will include instructions on how to use this system.
Color Dove Gray body with a 14k gold filled cap with a pattern of 9 grouped parallel lines, a blue diamond gold filled clip, and a pearlescent cap jewel. Imprint on cap band is: "1/10 14k gold filled Made in USA".
Nib FINE gold nib is quite smooth and firm.
Condition Excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips, or personalization. The cap has a very small and shallow dent to the right of the clip, and the blue diamond paint is missing from one corner - see photos below. Light wear on the sides of the clip. The barrel and section both have microscratches and evidence of handuse. The imprints are clear.
