Filling System Vacumatic with plastic plunger. Restored with a new diaphragm at PSP.
Color Black section and barrel with sterling silver lined pattern cap. Pearlized cap jewel. Gold arrow clip with a diamond that's not filled in.
Nib Medium gold nib, smooth with good tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The section and barrel have moderate scratching. The cap has moderate to heavy scratching and scuffs, and has some of the original anti-tarnish coating worn off (that's why it looks blotchy). The cap band is marked "Sterling Silver Made in USA". It has a lovely arrow pattern near the cap lip, with some parts of it obscured by scratching. There are also some shallow dents on the cap. The cap lip has some surface wear around the edge. The arrow clip has plating wear on the edges and around the open end. The clip ring has brassing and plating wear. The pearlized cap jewel has scratching. The imprints are clear.
The barrel is personalized with "J. P. ROBINSON".
