Product Name Parker "51" .... "Fantasy" creation
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA and Argentina; Ariel Kullock, Argentina -- Assembled in Argentina using Parker new old stock parts and re-manufactured parts. The cap is from a Parker 51. The nib and filling system are Parker-made. The clear, shimmery red hood and barrel were made by Kullock.
Length The fountain pen is 5-1/2" long. Mechanical pencil is 5-1/4" long
Filling System Vacumatic with plastic plunger. Restored with a new diaphragm at PSP. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which advance and retract by twisting the cap portion.
Color Solid olive green color barrels with Lustraloy steel caps and gold clips. The fountain pen also has an olive green section hood. Pearlized cap jewels (pen has double jewels, and pencil has one jewel).
Nib FINE gold nib. Really smooth!
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an unusually colored set pen with lovely satiny caps and gold clips. Fountain pen: The barrel hood looks good. There is light scratching all over, but no noticeable individual scratches. The area around the feed looks great, with no chipping or cracking. The section has long, thin scratches from the cap lip. The cap has very light scratching, and a few small dots of pitting. The clip has plating wear along the sides, and some small dents around the edges. The clip ring has plating wear around the perimeter. Both pearlized jewels looks fantastic. Mechanical pencil: The cap jewel has some shallow dents in the surface. The clip ring has some brassing around the edges. The clip has plating wear along the edges, and brassing around the open end. The cap has light scratching on the surface. The barrel also has light scratching. The nose cone has some brassing around the tip, but otherwise looks good. There are no imprints on either piece.
