Manufacturer and Year Parker USA - 1945. The pen has a date code of "5.", but there are no readable remnants of a date code on the pencil.

Filling System Vacumatic piston/plunger (restored with a new sac). Working well and guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. The pencil takes .9mm leads. We will include a packet of leads.
Color Black bodies. Lustraloy caps with gold-filled clips. The pen has a Blue Diamond clip. Pearlescent cap jewels. The mechanical pencil has a personalization on the barrel, "EM Horton", but the fountain pen is free of personalization.
Nib FINE gold nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a beautiful, classic pen and pencil set with velvety black bodies and with shiny lustraloy caps. The fountain pen looks great with light scratching on the barrel and light to moderate scratching on the cap. The clip has plating wear along the side edges. The blue diamond has a small cluster of mini-dot marks near the top. The clip ring has light pitting. The pearlescent jewel is darkened but it does not have any scratches. The mechanical pencil barrel has light to moderate scratching. It is personalized, "EM Horton". The cone has moderate microscratching. The lustraloy cap has light scratching with a few long, thin scratches. The clip and clip ring have scattered areas of pitting. The pearlescent jewel has scratches along the edges. The imprints on the fountain pen are clear. There are no imprints on the mechanical pencil other than the personalization on the barrel.
