The Parker 51 was introduced in 1941 with an innovative tubular hooded nib and multi-finned ink collector, and this model is admired by pen and stationery lovers for its iconic appearance and performance. Originally designed to be used with Parker's super-fast drying ink, modern pen fans appreciate the pen's mid-century modern styling and ease of use, and relish the connection with history. Parker originally offered this pen with their proven vacumatic filling system, and then later developed the "Aero-metric" filler, reducing the internal complexity.
