Filling System This version of the Parker 61 fountain pen has a converter which can be used for bottled ink, and which can be removed in order to use Parker ink cartridges. This converter is the same as was shipped with Parker 45s and later Parker 75s.
Color Brushed steel with gold trim... aka "Flighter". It has matching pearlescent jewels at either end.
Nib The gold nib is not marked but it looks and writes like a medium. The nib is in great shape and not worn at all, lots of tipping material. There's a small chip taken out of the hooded section.
Condition Excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally. No dings or dents. There's a fair bit of handwear but it's still nicely finished with the appearance of brushed steel. The arrow inset in the section is in perfect shape.
