Condition Excellent condition. This is a classic pen that has good shine and intact grids. There is a shallow dent on the cap, about 1/4" wide. It's about 3/4" above the cap lip, in line with the space between the "sterling silver" and "made in USA" imprints on the cap lip. The clip has a bit of brassing at the very top. The cap tassie has some scratching around the sides, and the top has some pitting; there are also some ink stains in the dish. The gold tassie at the end of the barrel looks good. The imprints are clear.
