Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Parker 75 Grain d'Orge
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in France. Date code "S" is not a standard date code, so we're not exactly sure when this was made. The Grain d'Orges pattern first came out in 1971.
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Cartridge/converter filler. A modern piston converter is installed.
Color Early versions of the "grain d'orges" (barleycorn) pattern were in silverplate, but we believe this is one of the later rhodium plated pens.
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a glittery, shiny pen in a classic Parker design and with a barleycorn pattern. The cap and barrel barleycorn sections are excellent and look beautiful. The cap has a non-patterned stripe that has light microscratching. The top and bottom tassies have light plating wear. The cap band has very light microscratches. The clip has a light layer of plating wear. The imprint is very clear.
