Parker Challenger from 1935 in grey and black marble with chrome plated trim. Fine gold nib, a little bit of flex, button filler. Works and writes well.

Manufacturer and Year  Parker, USA -- 1935 (the barrel has a clear 45 date code, and the nib has a date code of 25, both of which indicate different quarters of 1935)

Length  5-1/16"

Filling System  Button filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.

Color  Grey marble with black ends and chrome plated trim.

Nib  FINE gold Parkette nib is smooth with a bit of give to it. The nib looks great.

Condition  Very Nice condition. There is brassing and plating wear on the cap bands, tassie ring, and clip. The imprint is crisp and clear. There is a series of lines on the barrel opposite the imprint, which have been smoothed down. Other than what has been described, there are no cracks, chips, dings, or dents. It's fully restored and working very well.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system.
