Product Description
Type Vintage button filling fountain pen.
Product Name Duofold Junior (Streamline).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1930s, based off of the barrel imprint and text. The nib is a later replacement from 1949.
Length 4-11/16".
Filling System Button filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Burgundy and black body with black endpieces and two narrow cap bands. The trim is gold plated.
Nib FINE Parker Vacumatic nib is smooth and firm with great tipping material. While not the original nib, it really has nice looking tines and tipping. The nib has a date code of 9 with two dots. The Parker service department frequently used Vacumatic nib when servicing Duofolds.
Condition Very ice condition. The pen looks great in hand, it is very smooth and shiny with few marks and a clear imprint. The gold filled trim is a bit brassed on the edges of the bands and clip. The primary flaw is a crack on the cap lip. It is a fine crack with no gap, however we do discourage posting this cap. It has been photographed. The pen is fully restored and working well.
