Product Name Parker Duofold Vacumatic filler aka "Duovac" .... This is the higher end Blue Diamond model.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- 1941 (The date code on the barrel is a clear 1 with three dots).
Length Fountain pen is 5-1/4" long. The pencil is 5-1/8" long.
Filling System Vacumatic filler in the aluminum Speedline style. We've restored it with a new diaphragm. It's working very well, we'll include instructions for filling this pen. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which extend and retract by twisting the top half of the pencil.
Color "Green" color, stripes of black and stripes of various shades of green and brown. Gold plated trim with a blue diamond clip, triple cap band in narrow-wide-narrow coniguration, and black jewels on either end.
Nib Fine gold Parker nib. The feed is marked with an A, which stands for "accountant", and the nib is firm and smooth.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored set. Fountain pen: The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, and light scratching along the rest of the barrel. The blind cap has moderate scratching. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The cap bands have light plating wear, especially on the narrow bands. The wider middle band has some plating wear and tiny dots of pitting. The clip has plating wear along the edges. The blue diamond is intact and looks great. The clip band has plating wear along the upper edge. The end jewels look nice. The imprints are clear. Mechanical pencil: light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel, with heavier scratching in the middle near the triple bands. The bands have flaking and plating wear. The clip has plating wear along the sides. The nose cone has a lot of plating wear and flaking, though it's working very well. The imprint is slightly worn down, but still readable.
