Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name "Fantasy" Parker 51 Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock, Argentina. The pen was assembled by the Kullock team using a combination of Parker parts. The cap started as a gold filled converging lines cap, which received a hammered "martele" treatment. The nib and filling system are Parker-made, but we're not sure about the barrel, blind cap and hood. Normally we'd expect to see an imprint on the barrel, but since this lacks one, it may indicate that Kullock made the plastic parts as well.
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Vacumatic filling system w/black plastic plunger. Restored, tested, and working perfectly.
Color Grey section and barrel. 1/10 12k gold filled converging lines style cap has been hammered to create a very nice effect. Pearl cap jewel. Blue diamond arrow clip.
Nib FINE gold nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, shiny grey bodied fountain pen with unique patterning on the shiny golden cap. The section has light wispy scratches above the clutch ring. The barrel has just some light scratching. The cap has moderate scratching that is difficult to see because of the hammered surface. The clip has a little plating wear along some edges. The blue diamond looks excellent. The clip ring has microscratching and a tiny bit of pitting on some edges. The pearlescent jewel is excellent. The imprints are clear.
