Product Description
Type Button filling ring-top fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Lady Duofold Deluxe Lucky Curve.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA – later 1920s.
Length just barely over 4-1/2 inches (not counting the ringtop hardware).
Filling System Button filler. We've restored the filling system with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Jade green permanite with black ends and a 1/2-inch wide cap band which is not marked (these deluxe pens came with either a 12k gold filled, or a 14k solid gold cap band).
Nib MEDIUM gold Parker Lucky Curve nib. It's quite smooth with lovely tipping material, and has just a touch of spring to it. You can get a tiny bit of line variation with it, but not very much. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or really any plating wear. There are a few tiny scratches here and there on the cap and barrel. The color is really nice, very even, and not too yellowed; much nicer than we usually see in these pens. The imprint is still quite clear and readable. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
