Type Lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Parco (the model name is marked on the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Canada - circa 1932. The Parco model was introduced in about 1932 began to be replaced slowly by the Parkette in 1933. The timeline may have been slightly different for Canadian manufacture. This pen does not have a date code.
Length 4-3/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Mahogany (a burgundy color with shocks of cream color through it) with gold plated trim and double thin cap bands each on either end of the cap.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Warranted Canada 14k gold nib is smooth ith nice tipping material remaining. It's gives what we would term full flex, with easy line variation from a medium to a nice double broad under very little pressure. Note you feel a little feedback when you flex it. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition, though there are some light scratches and minor marks of wear on the cap and barrel. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There's some very light plating wear ont he ball of the clip and the cap bands. The imprint is fairly crisp and easily readable. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
