Product Description
Type Vac filling vintage fountain pen
Product Name Parker Vacumatic Junior
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA - 1935 (The date code on the barrel is a clear 25)
Length 4-13/16 inches. This is Junior size, the smallest of the Lockdown Vacumatic sizes. (Unlike the later Vacs, where the Major and the Junior were roughly the same size and the deb/sub-deb was the small model.)
Filling System Vacumatic aluminum lockdown plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested.
Color Windowed Black is mostly black with gold filled trim. It's windowed because the barrel has a striped portion that restricts the visibility of the brown demonstrator portion of the pen. It's meant to only offer a demonstrator experience at some angles instead of all of them. The visibility is not photographed.
Nib FINE 14k nib looks a bit worn but has a bit of give and is a smooth writer. It is a bit fine-medium in size.
Condition Excellent condition. Great color and smooth surfaces. There is some plating wear on the trim, with a large splotch of plating loss at the top of the clip. The imprint is legible and the barrel transparency is strong. There is a scratch made on the cap by the tip of the clip.
