Product Description
Type | Fountain pen with vacumatic filling system |
Product Name | Parker Vacumatic Deb |
Manufacturer and Year | Parker - 1945 (the body is dated 1945, you can see what looks like the top of a 3 on the nib) |
Length | 4-5/8 inches. |
Filling System | Vacumatic filler is in good working condition. We replaced the diaphragm and thoroughly tested the pen. |
Color | Green pearl body and cap with gold plated trim-- some visibility thru the body. |
Nib | Parker USA arrow style fine nib leans a bit to the right, but it is very smooth (at least for a right handed writer) and we decided not to adjust it. Lots of tipping material in evidence. |
Condition
|
The pen body is smooth with only handwear and a few light marks. The imprint is strong and readable. The clip and trim show some brassing and some of the plating is flaking on the side of the clip. No cracks. We restored the pen and replaced the diaphragm. We'll guarantee it for the period of a year, though if you don't use harsh inks it should last much longer than that. This is a great little pen and very attractive. |
