Product Name Parker Vacumatic Junior, the difference between a Major and a Junior is the trim, otherwise they are the same size.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in Canada -- 1946 (the date code on the barrel is a clear 6 with two dots.)

Filling System Vacumatic plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is working well. This has the late plastic plunger system.
Color Laminated black body and cap with gold plated trim. It has alternating solid black and translucent ambering bands. The cap has a black cap jewel and a pair of narrow cap bands.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k nib. It is smooth and springy with nice tipping material. The tines don't look like they spread all that far, but with carefully applied pressure you can get good line variation. See the writing sample below. The nib has a date code of 6 with three dots.
Condition Superior condition. The barrel imprint is clear and there are no bite marks on scratches. The trim looks great. It is smooth and shiny. The barrel has good transparency. No cracks, chips, or dents.
