Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior -- the Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1947 (The imprint on the barrel is a clear 7 with 2 dots).
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Standard style plastic Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly.
Color Emerald Pearl striped finish with gold plated trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip.
Nib FINE gold arrow style Parker USA nib with a 1941 nib, so it's an earlier nib than would have originally been on the pen (which would have been a Vacumatic nib). It's smooth and firm with excellent tipping.
Condition Excellent + condition. The cap shows light handwear and scratching. The cap bands have light scratching, but no visible brassing or plating wear. The clip has plating wear along the sides, and there is some brassing around the clip ring. The cap jewel looks great. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The barrel looks great with excellent transparency. The imprint is clear.
