Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior. The Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1947 (The date code on the barrel is an 7 with no dots).
Length 5-1/16".
Filling System Later Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly. It has the plastic plunger. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Silver Pearl striated with silver colored (either nickel or chrome) trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip.
Nib MEDIUM gold arrow style Parker USA nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classic Parker pen with excellent barrel clarity and in a pleasing color combination. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and the cap and barrel have moderate scratching. The double cap bands have wear. The clip looks good with a bit of plating wear on the arrow end. The clip ring has a few small dots of pitting along some of the edges. The black top jewel has just some light microscratches but it is dark and shiny. The imprints are clear.
