Product Name Vacumatic Long Major.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - 1939 (barrel is marked with a 9 date code). Double jewel "Long Major" models were made between 1939 and 1941.
Length Approx. 5-5/16", or 134mm.
Filling System Standard plastic Vacumatic filling system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim, a blue diamond clip, two black jewels, and a medium-wide chevron style cap band in a pattern like this: ///\\\///\\\.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k nib is smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition except for some light wear and marks on the cap and barrel. There is a small nick on the lip of the cap, but no cracks or chips. Small marks of light brassing show on the edges of the clip, but there is otherwise hardly any plating wear. The barrel shows excellent clarity, there's only one tiny pinpoint chip in the blue diamond paint. The imprint is fairly clear and readable, and the pen is free of personalization. We've fully restored the pen and it's working well.
