Parker Vacumatic Major fountain pen from the 1940s. This is the azure pearl color with a chevron cap band and a blue diamond clip. It has a narrow medium nib. The pen is fully restored and working well. Excellent condition.

Manufacturer and Year  Parker, made in USA -- Circa 1946 (the date code on the nib is a clear 6 with two dots and the filling system matches.)

Length  5-1/16.

Filling System  Vacumatic plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is working well. This has the late plastic plunger system.

Color  Azure Pearl body and cap with gold plated trim. It has alternating blue-gray pearl bands and semi-transparent amber bands. The cap has a black cap jewel and a chevron patterned cap band just over 1/8". It has a blue diamond clip.  The color is very dark.

Nib  MEDIUM-FINE 14k nib. It is smooth and springy with nice tipping material. The nib has a clear date code and looks quite good.

Condition  Excellent condition. The imprint on the barrel is partially faded as is the blue diamond on the clip. The pen has some faint and shallow bite marks on the cap and on the blind cap.  There are additional marks from the cap on the barrel from capping. The barrel transparency is weak and there is some plating wear. The pen is very sharp looking despite some wear and marks.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country.
