Filling System Vacumatic filler is in excellent working condition. The filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens. (We will guarantee the filling system for one year from purchase.) It has a lockdown filling system.
Color Brown body and cap with gold plated trim. It has alternating brown pearl bands and semi-transparent amber bands. There are two jewels at the ends. The cap has a narrow trio of bands. The trim is gold plated.
Nib Fine 14k nib, with "1." date code (1941). Writes smoothly.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap looks great with only very light scratching. Both cap and barrel jewels looks great. The trim looks very nice, just some light plating wear on the clip. There are some horizontal scratches on the part of the barrel that sits under the cap. The barrel has consistent light scratch marks throughout but none that are deep. No bite marks. The pen is personalized with "THOS. P. SHAFFER". There are no cracks. The imprint is fairly clear and legible, though the date code is mostly worn. The coloration is deep and rich.
