Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parker VS ("Vacumatic Successor")
Manufacturer and Year Parker - 1947
Length 5-9/16" inches.
Filling System Button filler with aluminum button. We restored the filling system and it works beautifully.
Color Reddish brown "rust" color body with a Lustraloy (brushed steel) cap, chrome trim, and a pearlescent cap jewel which has faded to a slightly yellower color.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k nib. Fairly firm, with a nice amount of tipping material.
Condition Excellent except for a small spot on the barrel where a little of the plastic has been scraped off leaving a small indent about the size of a pin-head and not too deep (see photos). Otherwise there's just some small spots of light scratching on the section and the blind cap, along with the usual very light microscratching and handwear on the lustraloy (brushed steel) cap. As mentioned above, the jewel is a little discolored to a slightly yellowish hue. Still this pen is looking marvelous, and writing very well, with no cracks.
