Product Name Parker VS ("Vacumatic Successor"), Mark I as identified by the aluminum button filling system.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- 1946 (The nib has a date code of 6 with one dot.) This is a first year pen.
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Button filler with aluminum button and aluminum threaded surroundings. We restored the filling system and it works beautifully. We'll guarantee it for a period of one year from purchase.
Color Grey body with a Lustraloy (brushed steel) cap.
Nib Fine 14k nib. Writes smoothly. It is a large nib with a few dings on it. It has the early clear lucite feed the Parker VS had.
Condition Excellent + condition. The primary wear is on the nib and feed. There is handwear on the cap and barrel and a little early plating wear on the cap ring. No cap dents or major scratches. The pen is working well. The aluminum housing for the button often corrodes and gets stuck but this one has no corrosion and the button is easily pressed.
