Filling System The fountain pen uses a piston filling system. We've cleaned and tested it to ensure that it is working properly. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads, which advance via a clicky button/knock at the top of the cap. If you unscrew the knock, you'll find a small eraser.
Color Green striped color with a semi-transparent barrel. Black cap and knob. Gold plated trim.
Nib DOUBLE BROAD Pelikan 14k nib with just a touch of flex. Excellent condition with lots of tipping material. Please see our writing sample.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks or chips, dings, or dents. The fountain pen has light handwear and microscratching. The clip has some plating wear on the edges, and brassing around the clip ring and derby. The cap band looks great with no brassing. The pencil also has light handwear and microscratching. The clip has some brassing. There is some brassing on the front edge of the nose cone. The cap band looks good, though the imprint is not as crisp here as it is on the pen. Both pieces have been cleaned and tested and are working very well. In original leather zippered case ("etui"). Some of the interior leather lining is peeling up, but the case is otherwise in really great shape for being 70+ years old.
