Color The Chicago model is a cracked ice mix of black and grey with a black end piece and section. It has rhodium-plated trim, according to the accompanying booklet.
Nib Broad 18k two-toned nib. It's very smooth.
Condition Near mint condition, in box, with paperwork. Our inspection turned up no signs that the pen had ever been inked. There is light polishing marks. No cracks or noticeable scratches. The pelican on the cap jewel looks great and the trim is intact. The trim on the collar looks perfect. Ships in the Pelikan special edition box with outer cardboard box, with paperwork and clip tag. Note that the faux leather lining the box has begun to disintegrate and is flaking off in several places.
