Type Piston fill fountain pen. Rare prototype.
Product Name Pelikan prototype based on M600. This rare model can be seen in the Pelikan archives, and you'll see a tray of these prototypes on the excellent www.pelikan-collectibles.com website. It is unknown how many were made, but only a few have been seen on the market.
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany -- 1997-2003, the pen has the pre-2003 cap logo and the post-1997 trim.

Filling System Piston filling system
Color Lemon yellow barrel, cap, section, and end pieces. Gold plated trim. The cap has one wide and one thin band. The barrel has one thin band. There is a grey viewing window.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib. The nib is two-tone.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized, colorful, shiny pen that has had very little use, if any. The barrel threads have a scratch (see photo below, it's not a crack). The imprints are clear.
