Color White cap, section, and piston knob with "tortoise" barrel. The tortoise pattern is alternating transparent and translucent golden pearl lengthwise stripes. Some of the colored stripes have amber coloring. Gold plated trim.
Nib Extra-Fine 14k two-tone nib. It writes smoothly and has perfect tipping.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box. These white-trimmed Pelikans are so lovely, but we often see tiny cracks in the material, and this pen is no exception. There is a hairline crack in the cap lip, about 1/4" long. We've included a close-up photo that highlights this area; we believe that the crack shouldn't extend further, and is being held in check by the cap bands. The transparency is strong. There are no scratches or other visible marks. The pen comes in a Pelikan box, with a white leatherette pen case and original paperwork. The pen case has a small reddish-pink ink stain on it.
