Product Name Pelikan Souveran M400 (The M400 has gold trim and M405 has silver trim).
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany - 2001-3. The red color was introduced in 2001, and the two chick painted logo was superseded by the one chick logo in 2003).

Filling System Piston filling system. We have tested it and it's working very well.
Color Red striped barrel, black cap and end pieces. Gold plated trim. The color is really nice. It's designated the black/red model even though the red seems a stronger focal point than the black.
Nib Two-tone 14c Fine nib.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored pen in a classic style. The cap and barrel have light to moderate wear. The barrel has some marks caused by the cap lip. The two gold bands just above the piston knob have light scratch marks. The trim ring at the front of the section has several spots of plating wear which you can see in the photos below. Both cap bands look good. The clip has plating wear around the bottom edge and on the sides of the top. Barrel clarity is excellent. The imprints are clear.
